No possibility of tampering.The RFID tag number can be encrypted while
communicating with the reader, if so desired. The number by itself is meaningless because it merely points to a record in a database, which contains all the details about the vehicle, date upto which access is to be allowed, owner,etc.
Faster access during times of heavy traffic like in morning rush hour.
System working does not depend only on the integrity of the person manning the gate.
Less manpower is required to man the gates but more security is ensured.
